There are many great places to buy locally grown, locally produced, wholesome food in the Niagara Region. On this page we will show you some of our favorite cheese makers/sellers, markets, fruit growers, meat and vegetable sources and more. Food is a big part of Niagara and a visit here won’t be lacking if you didn’t experience some of the local food production.  If you are lucky enough to live in the area then maybe we can help you discover a few places you haven’t already found!

Lets start with Linda Crago and her Tree and Twig Vegetable Farm

Tree and Twig Heirloom Vegetable Farm is a real treasure. Places like this are one of the main reasons we moved to Niagara.
For those readers who don’t know about Linda Crago; she is a local hero. While many of us talk about wanting to grow heirloom vegetables – Linda walks the walk. Tree and Twig is a testament to Linda’s remarkably clear vision and the gumption to bring that vision to fruition – annually. Check out our full blog post to see some video of her annual Tomato Bash!
